My shopping cart is always empty even after I have chosen a product to buy. Why is this? |
| A. |
Generally this has to do with your browser having cookies disabled. The shopping cart uses cookies to maintain your shopping cart. To enable cookies, check out the document Enabling Cookies. If you still have difficulty, you will want to contact the administrator of your computer systems. |

| Q. |
What should I do when I receive an update to the software? |
| A. |
Use it. New studies and health guidelines come out every day. It is important to always use the most current software that reflects these advances. Detailed update instructions are provided with each set of disks. After installing the update, you must recalculate the database. |
| Q. |
What should I do if I receive a questionnaire that is not completely filled out? |
| A. |
We suggest that every questionnaire be reviewed by a staff member before the participant turns it in. This will prevent large numbers of questionnaires being received without complete answers. However, if you receive an incomplete questionnaire you do have some options. First, we encourage you to contact the participant and ask for the additional information. If this isn't possible in your situation you can set your scanner setting to detect missing or blank answers at different degrees of sensitivity. The software provides you with the ability to place a statement on the Individual Reports warning participants that their scores may not accurately reflect their health due to the omission of information. |
| Q. |
Can I generate reports on specific groups within my population? |
| A. |
With the desktop versions of our HRAs, you can use the criteria function to target any group within your database. Your search can be based on a single identifiable characteristic or any group of characteristics. We have included fields in our database such as company name, health plan name, any risk factor, and specific question, etc., to help facilitate this process. |
| Q. |
What is the best type of printer to use with the Personal Wellness Profile™ software? |
| A. |
We recommend the Hewlett Packard family of printers. The printer should be an HP4 or better with at least 8 MB of RAM. We do not recommend use of the "P" or "L" series. Remember, the more memory you have the faster your reports will print. |
| Q. |
What kind of database does your software create? Can I merge existing demographic data with your database? |
| A. |
Personal Wellness Profile™ creates Microsoft® Access (version 2000 or greater) databases. A SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000 database may also be configured. These databases can be merged with existing demographic data to avoid re-entering information that is not entered via scanner. Our data consultants can help you understand this process and the steps you will need to take in order for the merge to be successful. |
