The Lifestyle Change Series™ classroom-style programs by Wellsource® Institute for Healthy Living™ are designed to run 8-10 weeks in length and encourage measurable changes in a person's health. There are a total of three different Lifestyle Change Series™ programs which can be chosen from.

Eight Weeks to Wellness™ Fitness for Life™ Lifelong Weight Management™

All Lifestyle Change Series™ programs include:

  • A CD with presentations, promotional materials that can be printed and personalized, and a diverse resource materials selection
  • Speaker notes for each slide
  • A Coordinator's Guide to help you organize, promote, and run the program in a variety of settings
  • PowerPoint® presentations with 30-60 graphics for each week's presentation

Eight Weeks to Wellness™ Participant Manual

Eight Weeks to Wellness™ is an easy-to-use program that combines the latest evidence-based population health research and tested behavior change principles to help participants achieve a healthier lifestyle. The program comes with eight 60-90 minute weekly presentations available in PowerPoint® format and on DVD. Research from world renowned journals as well as guidelines from the National Institutes of Health and other national agencies is referenced in each slide as appropriate. Participants use a 32-page guide for additional information and to record daily progress.

Eight Weeks to Wellness™ Coordinators Guide

Fitness for Life™ is based on the latest population research linking physical activity with mental health and injury prevention as well as risk reduction for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. Supporting resources and handouts for the program may be printed directly from the CD provided. The program is broken into ten 60-90 minute weekly sessions and includes health promoting and risk reducing insights from scientific research and guidelines from the National Institutes of Health and other agencies.

Coordinators Guide

Eight Weeks to Wellness™ Coordinators Guide

Lifelong Weight Management™ is a lifestyle change package combining weight management with disease risk reduction. Key features are setting personal, realistic goals and selecting an appropriate calorie control eating plan; setting a personal physical activity goal; weekly motivation, instruction, and problem solving; group support and accountability; self-monitoring systems; and recording progress and measuring outcomes. This program is designed to present in 10 weekly sessions. PowerPoint® presentations and supporting resources are available on the CD provided.
