Wellsource, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Software Developer. We are looking for a software developer, with mid-level (2-5+ years) experience, who is self-motivated and can excel in a team environment. Key Accountabilities:
- Development and maintenance of our commercial VB6 and VB.NET applications
- Database design and tuning and optimization of SQL Server database write MS Transact-SQL and T-SQL stored procedures and user defined functions
- Create SQL queries and viewsd
- Develop installation scripts using Installshield
- Perform validation testing on patches and new releases
Skill Requirements:
- College degree computer science or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years experience with VB6
- 2-5 years experience with VB.NET (C# a plus)
- 2-5 years experience with MS Transact-SQL
- 1-2 years experience with MS Visual Source Safe
- Experience with SQL Server 2000-2005 and experience developing installation scripts utilizing Installshield
- Knowledge of rules of database normalization
- Development of Web Applications using VB.NET/ASP.NET
